The project Seismic Anamoly was started in 2002 by Michael S., who lives in Meridian, MS, USA. Seismic Anamoly has been composing and playing music since 2000, and his work is done primarily utilizing his Peavey EVH Wolfgang, Millennium J Series Bass, and Indianola ER Acoustic. Seismo had a total of 13 #1's, 2 #2's, 1 #3, 1 #4, and 1 #5 on the now defunct MP3.com charts, and has been featured on numerous music websites including MusicDish, ZeBox, MP3 Unsigned, New Artists Radio, Musician's Cyber Cooler, MakeAStar, BandTattoo, CDSmash, GetMeMusic, Magnatune, Space Junkies Magazine, Hardcore Promo, MP3 College Radio Network, 1215, Chicago Music Scene and many others.

Seismo strives to capture and reflect the styles of Van Halen, Nugent, and Marino in his compositions, who were/are his primary influences.  Seismo's tunes consist primarily of hard driving Power Metal/Rock with a little Acoustic thrown in here and there.  These were the sounds that he grew up with and came to love....he still loves it today.

He is proudly represented and promoted by Magnatune Records of Berkeley, CA, USA, and GMM Records of Worthing, England, UK.
